Task 1


The purpose of video two at the beginning is to show the audience a small story at the beginning of michael jackson watching a werewolf movie alongside his scared date, who then depart on a moonlit stroll mid-movie. The couple are then ambushed by an army of the undead, revealing that michael is one of them. This shocking twist goes in hand with the videos title "Thriller." This sudden twist would not only shock the frightened woman in the song, but also catch the audience off guard and shock them also.


The purpose of the "Eminem slim shady" is promotion of a particular artist. This is because the majority of the rap throughout, he talks about himself in a positive way, which is backs up this idea. The reason why he is doing is could possibly be because he is trying to show record deals, agencies and also the public what he has to offer and to also emphasise his uniqueness compared to other similar artists in that particular field of music.


Promotion of a particular song - Sucker for pain.

The song, along side with the video, is in relation to the newly released movie known as "suicide squad." Soundtracks throughout the movie has songs specifically written for the film itself. This helps to increase the promotion of the song due to a shared and much larger target audience for the music video.
